Most people are never taught what to expect at end of life, how to be with someone who is dying, or how to move through grief in a grounded way.
These sessions are designed to offer clear, steady, real-world understanding of experiences every human will encounter, either personally or alongside someone they love.
Each day stands on its own, and together they offer a more complete picture.
End of Life: What to Expect, What to Say, What to Do
May 30 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM | In Person
A focused introduction to what commonly unfolds as someone approaches end of life, and how to respond in ways that feel supportive and steady.
You’ll explore:
• What tends to happen physically, emotionally, and relationally
• How to recognize changes as they arise
• What to say when words feel hard to find
• What helps, what doesn’t, and why
Being With Someone Who Is Dying: What Matters Most
June 13 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM | In Person
A day focused on presence, connection, and how to be with someone during the final stages of life.
You’ll explore:
• What people often need most in their final days
• How to respond to emotional and relational moments
• What it means to “be with” rather than “do for”
• Navigating silence, uncertainty, and intensity
Grief, Decisions, and What Comes Next
July 27 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM | In Person
A session exploring what happens after a death, including grief, decision-making, and how people begin to move forward.
You’ll explore:
• Early experiences of grief
• Decision-making during and after loss
• Emotional and practical realities after death
• Supporting yourself or others through grief
You can attend one or all three
Each session offers a complete learning experience on its own.
Together, they provide a more connected understanding of end of life, presence, and grief.
If you feel drawn to this learning, you’re welcome to begin wherever it feels right.
